4-22. All that you see with your eyes is but an illusion of the ego. Look again with your heart and the Real world, consisting of only Love and seen only in the Light, will be remembered.
To unerringly follow your instincts is not at all a popular methodology of guidance within this world of form at this time. To tell another to trust their hearts may often result in you being derided as a “dreamer” or a “pie in the sky” applicator of a systemic thought process that is of massive benefit, but which is equally one that requires complete trust. It is not a state of awareness that many are, as of yet, willing to engage themselves within, simply because it is much more popular to follow the “common wisdom” and conventionality of material pursuits as being end goals in and of themselves. Those possessed of vast sums of material resources will attest to the benefit of hard work and discipline, as if their riches grant them some automatic peace and autonomic contentment that would have been otherwise unavailable if they had lived as destitute paupers. All of this is understandable and forgivable in the utmost, for of course from the perspective of the ego, the more materiality that you gather around you, the more you must be “happy”, for the ego desires distinction, and what could be more distinctive than having vast wealth to flaunt without and revel within? All of this is useless, of course, for Peace arises not through the acquisition of resources, power or influence over others, but rather through a process of inwardly-gazing reflectivity that allows for the acceptance of this material world just as it is, with no further desire for dominance over processes that are largely extrinsic to any particular Child of God’s control. Peace is not a prize to be purchased or a challenge to be overcome, although both of those conceptualizations are so very innate to the perspective of separation that it is fully understandable that they would be taken up by so many, and that so much time would be invested within their pursuit, even though the richest king that has ever lived had no more access to unassailable joy than the most modestly thriving or even destitutely surviving person throughout all of the history of this world. Wealth of the heart will always surpass all that is material, for nothing that is of this world can last indefinitely. Yet the progress that you will embark upon when you seek out not material comforts but rather the elegant acceptance of a life lived within the ambit of a most simply expressed guidance will continue until you emerge as a fully actualized Being of Light, one that knows no separation from all that is possible, and thusly is equally a Child of God that has fully unshackled themselves from all forms of dependence in any manner at all. The guidance is as this - follow the directives of your heart and no matter the outcome, know that only growth can ensue. The contraction that seemingly accompanies a desire to ignore your instincts and to pursue material “success” at any cost is not at all a diminution in your fundamental Light and Joy - it is simply a process by which you walk ever further away from yourself, becoming increasingly discontent with no apparent justification for your assemblage of emotional states, ever more uncertain of the genuineness of your path and worrisome that you have “gone wrong” with no apparent correction available to you. That is all part of learning of what it is that is not the best Path for you, even if you end up at the conclusion of your life with a full coffer and an empty heart. Nothing that is material can satiate a heart that is ignored, for it is through experience that you expand - never through the acquisition of any resource at all. To look out upon this world and to be envious of those who are possessed of greater material abundance is to ignore the richness and depth of your own heart. That is not to be construed as advice to divest yourself of all materiality and to wander naked in the forest, for certainly there is value in providing to your physical body the baseline requirements that it needs for effective functioning. It is instead an admonishment to never look out upon this world and allow yourself to believe that anything material is possessed of the ability to inspire genuine joy in your heart. Remember always that this world of form is neutral, and so all that occurs here, no matter the occasion, whether it be happenstance or happy accident, is but another tool or resource to be utilized in the pursuit of a complete freedom from all attachment. To be enraptured with trinkets and toys is to ignore the fundamentality of experience, for it is through genuinely living in the present moment that the arising of the universality of a satiated heart returns to your Awakening mind. What you see with your eyes must always be wholly influenced and proscribed by your beliefs of what you see, for the body is not at all impartial. Nor should it be - being of this world, the body is influenceable and malleable in its desires. Yet your heart is not at this - your heart wishes only to show you the Light that pervades all of Creation, a Light of such beauty and peace that once it is welcomed back into your consciousness, all other investatures in myriad distractions pale to such a comparison that no equivalency is possible. What is Real, when all else is dissolved and dismembered, returning to the ineffectiveness that all material reality must be classified as when it is seen clearly, is the Light of Love. This Light is continuous, contiguous with All That Is and accessible at all times. It does not falter, dim or become inaccessible. It is a simple error of perception to believe that your apparent inability to See the Light must mean that you are, unjustifiably and inextricably, undeserving of its Grace. That is the ego, and it is fundamentally incorrect in every manner possible. All that God Creates is just as God - Perfect and Complete. The ego is the conceptualization of incompleteness now rendered into flesh, seemingly given a life of its own when it has never enjoyed such a state of existence. The ego is an error of perception made apparently whole through your willingness to believe that it is real, when in Truth, it is nothing at all. All that is seen with the eyes is a reflection of what is desired to be seen - never the truth of anything at all. All that is born witness by the heart is genuine and True, for the heart is incapable of fallacy or falseness in any way at all. All that remains from this is for you to continue to practice listening to the guidance of your heart, no matter how bizarre or reliant on Faith it might be, for there can be no error within Creation and there can be, equally and completely, no mistake committed when you follow your heart’s guidance without hesitation.
