1-19. Positive thoughts without positive actions won't effect change in your life. Use your Free Will to always choose right actions.
It is commonplace in this world to believe that positive thoughts, in and of themselves, are sufficient to produce change, growth or new results from cyclical and inherently self-reinforcing patterns of behavior. This misconception is without benefit to those who entertain it. While the utility of positive thought patterns is not to be undervalued, as it indeed does help to place oneself in the much more Real part of a spectrum of thought possibilities, in that positive thoughts are generally in alignment with the Truth of Love, simply relying on positive thoughts alone to affect aspects of your life that are under your direct control is without merit. Both thoughts and beliefs, which are in fact thought structures than have been reinforced over time until they appear to have a stability they do not in fact enjoy, function merely as guideposts and directional indicators, pointing the way towards the necessary actions that will assist the Universe in delivering to you that which you desire to see manifested in your life. Negative thoughts have a similar but primarily opposite function, in that they point towards actions that will place you in opposition to the Will of God. God desires that you expand, to become larger than life as it were, to break though the bonds of physical form and material limitations that while appearing to be incontrovertibly permanent, are in fact no more binding than the degree to which you ascribe a definite reality to them. Thoughts are not actions. They may appear to be actions from the perspective of assuming that thoughts arise from the brain – that they are based upon the electrochemical communications between neurons. In Truth, these physical communications are not causative but are actually effects. First the mind moves, then the body follows. This is without exception. All thoughts find their origin in the mind and are then played out through the body’s mechanisms. To believe that thought arises from the level of the body and then progresses upwards, towards the non-physical mind, is but a simple reversal of the true process of cognition. This is not to disparage or diminish the necessity of positive thoughts. They do indeed serve an invaluable purpose, guiding a nascent mind through the necessary steps to return to its original state of Union with all that has ever been or will ever be. But the positivity of correctly aligned thoughts, thoughts which uplift and enliven the thinker, are just the beginning of a process of growth and healing. When they lead to positive action, whether these actions are new to the thinker or are reflections of prior behavioral patterns that have become forgotten or abandoned in favor of other routes, these positive thoughts have great value and usefulness. It is the actions of the thinker that can most directly affect the immediate circumstances and life conditions of the person thinking. Mere wistfulness is no more useful than hoping for the end of a condition within the world at large without undertaking any effort to encourage the world’s participants to change their behavior. On both a global, local and personal scale, simply desiring to have another set of conditions appear, as if by magic, in one’s general environs, is without any true merit. Little is accomplished though desire alone. The intractably powerful and immeasurably potent combination of a determined mind and a consecrated set of actions that directly point to a desired result can rarely be dissuaded from arriving at its determined goal. First must come thought, as all the Universe was derived from a Perfect Mind in which Thoughts of Love were forever present, long before time began and forever stretching out after time has ended in a Moebius strip of Perfection, forever joining with itself again and again in an infinite loop of Love for all that God Created. Allow your thoughts to parse though this pattern again and again, cycling between the formation of the thought and then its reflection in actions directly aligned with the thought. Over time, a self-reinforcing cycle of positivity and surety will be built, one in which you will see that as you consistently choose the right thoughts, the right actions which can lead to the realization of your thoughts will become easier and easier to first determine and then to follow. You cannot fail in this quest, for all the Universe is in alignment with you when you elect to choose a Path that places you on the Way that leads back to Love, back to God and back to all that has always been and will forever be Real.
