4-7. If you are in doubt, ask. If you are afraid, trust. If you are alone, know that you are not. A Universe of Love awaits only your call, your acceptance, your willingness to believe Truth remains forever True.
The epitome of trust is to accept. To accept that you are able to trust - in anything at all, as an effective starting point for those who refuse to relent - is the beginning of acceptance. This can appear difficult for many, for trust is often misconstrued to be a weakness or a source of possible pain, if the trust that you voluntarily elect to give is not honored and respected. All of that is a result of a life lived in a world of form that cannot be directly relied upon, for there is much that occurs in this world that is deeply unfair and genuinely unreliable. From the support of others to chaotic governmental systems that are not at all consistent to the ease with which a life can be snuffed out with no seeming rhyme or reason at all, the world of form is not one that will naturally engender automatically extending or extensive faith in systems of regulation that are so easily manipulated by those determined to gain favor or control at the expense of others who are left with little recourse when their own lives are detrimentally affected. All of this is reflective of the systematic suppression of the less powerful in favor of those who wield control for their own purposes, and not for the benefit of all. That is an unfortunate situation for any Child of God to find themselves thrust into, but it is not at all a direct reflection of God - it is the artifice of humanity that creates inequality. There is a level of trust that extends far beyond all that is material, but it is not directly represented within the world of form. It is an inwardly-gazing trust, one that is given from you to you, and not one that is necessarily provided to you by any other Child of God. While it is certainly possible to trust another person, and a life lived within which no such relationship exists is a barren one indeed, that is not the trust that is most efficacious in assisting you with relenting your desire to control, instead trusting that God will direct you as is most appropriate, even if you seem to be heading towards disaster and ruin. All that occurs in this world, the vast majority of which is indeed wholly random and without direct input from God, can be used as effective lessons in what are the most appropriate responses to events and the actions of others, but only if you are willing to relent to a sufficient degree to allow yourself to be taught, rather than demanding that you must know best how it is that you are going to respond to what you label as tragedy. Trust transforms from a singular expression of reliance upon your own best judgment into a mutually-cooperative relationship with God when you become willing to inquire as to the import of any particular challenge, rather than immediately experiencing a knee-jerk reaction that causes you to scream out in pain, demeaned by anguish and unwilling to accept that randomness is indeed a central tenet and organizing principle of the world of form. When you are in doubt as to the best way to turn - regardless of whether it is the best step to next undertake, the correct person to engage with or to turn away from, or the most beneficial reaction that you can have to anything that occurs, you can ask. You will be answered by God, but you may not yet be adept enough in trusting your own heart to hear the reply easily, for without at least some level of practice in allowing your instincts to be heard, all that will be obvious to you is that your ego is demanding an audience in its theater of reactivity, and you will engage with this world purely from a surface level of immediacy, when even a brief pause might cause you to contemplate what has transpired differently. The ego will always attempt to bend your ear at every turn, for the ego needs your constant attention to maintain its stranglehold over your awareness. Without incessant reinforcement, the ego weakens and loses its immediate power to dictate to you what it is that you should make of any occurence. Instead of simply reacting from rote memory, as you have already done so many times, stop and inquire with your heart what it might be that you can learn from whatever has happened. From this liminal space of inwardly reflective contemplation, newness and Light can arise, an illumination of past patterns of behavior that may have been far less effective than the uptaking of a fresh perspective, one that is decidedly less personal and much more universally contemplative. Your heart is the channel for all of the Guidance of God. If you are divorced from your heart, consider a reconciliation. It is both possible and absolutely in your best interest to rekindle the relationship that you once enjoyed, one that was certain and easy, rather than the way of the ego, which is universally difficult and fraught with endless confusion. If you find yourself afraid, have faith and trust in God. Your body can - and will, of this you can be certain - fail, but that is not at all a personal affront, for all that is of this world of form must degrade. Yet it is not you that is lost when your body ceases to have any utility - the “you” that you imagine yourself to be, as seen so imperfectly through the eternally distorted lens of the ego, is not at all who you are in Truth. You are an endless Being of Light - a Child of God, not a denizen of a world of form that is so very disinterested in your best interests. Trust bridges fear with Love, erasing the initial circumstance that first allowed for the imagining of a reason for fear, sewing up all that was rent asunder when you first imagined that it might be possible to be separated from God. That was all that you feared, before the beginning of the necessity of time itself, and that is all that need be healed before you can rest in Peace, knowing that your connection to God is Eternal, and so your continuation must be as well. From such an acceptance, hard won from the ego’s perspective but effortless indeed from the awareness of Truth, aloneness and the desolation of isolation from all else that lives is erased, for it was but a dream of the possibility of error within the Creations of God that had no justification at all. All that was loneliness and separation from others was but a reflection of your own unwillingness to be the very best company for yourself that you could ever be, finally relenting and no longer demanding that others be the companion that you were unwilling to believe that you could be for yourself. All that is necessary to upend the narrative of the ego is to release all of its presuppositions of correctness and accuracy, for the ego is anything but true in all that it whispers to you in the dread night of life lived without any willingness to trust yourself, and then by inescapable extension, to begin to be willing to trust that others are capable of seeing you as you are, and not as they would have you be. To be able to stand, certain and true, aware of your uniqueness and unbowed by this world of endless comparison, is the beginning of relief from the ego’s yoke of dominance and subordination to a belief pattern that seeks homogeneity when each Child of God is absolutely distinct from all others who have ever lived. All that is True remains just as it has always been - it cannot be altered by any misconceptions of the Love of God or its Power to heal all that appears to be an irreparable schism between you and your own heart. That is the source of all pain, all longing and all regret - the mechanisms of the flesh inappropriately applied to your eternal soul, now given some power they have never enjoyed, or some ability to separate you from yourself, so that you become dependent upon others when you have never been bereft of all of the Love of God and all of the approval to be just as you were Created to be, no matter what it is that is the best manner in which you can express your uniqueness. Allow all to be as it is, without resistance, and all that you apply to the world of form will be reflected accurately within your own heart. To fight your True Nature is the veritable definition of insanity. Do you want that any longer? Have you gained anything at all by being unwilling to be wholly your own best expression of your unique Light? Has that fulfilled you in any way at all? Surely not, for that was not the Will of God that drove you thusly - it was but your willingness to regard the ego as a source of any knowledge at all that has led you astray, to feelings of discontentment and unfulfillment that have no cessation. Choose again, most lovely Child of God, for all that you will perceive as unjust is but randomness now personally appointed as your own tormenter, when it was simply an aspect of a life lived in a world of form. This world was not designed to be your master - you are the creator of your reality, and though transforming trust into Trust, all that you will ever need to be Guided appropriately will become manifest so easily and directly that no doubt will be able to linger within its most radiant presence.
