5-20. Fear binds in darkness, screaming its own name as some form of pitiful justification for its existence. Love sings in the Light, forever shining, forever certain that it alone has always been Real.
Fear knows only its meaningless nature, blinded by its own unwillingness to admit that it is reflective of nothing at all. Fear sees nothing as it is, because it cannot see itself and the simple Truth that because God is All, there is nothing to fear. Fear looks out upon a world that it does not understand and then attempts to propose that its perceptual framework, so very removed from All That Is, must be the only perspective that is appropriate or justified by what it is that fear infers and intuits from its assumptions. What a quandary of regressively recursive ponderings this all is, so seemingly justified from solely one perspective, when within the Mind of God there exist all of the possible ways to regard everything at all, including all of the corrected and appropriate methods that are used to See what it is to be Unified with Love. Fear cannot contemplate this, for that would require fear to be able to step outside of its own beliefs in limitations, and that is not at all a bravery that fear can elect to engage itself within, for fear is terrified of even its own ephemeral and transitory nature, not to mention all that is of Love, which is unknown to fear in every way possible. Fear wishes to hold you in its sway, dictating that you should be as it is - rendered mute by trepidation, paralyzed by expectation and unswayed by all that Love offers, for if you were to be sufficiently courageous to attempt to move even one iota of a step away from all that fear bids you to believe, the Light of infinite brightness that is the Heart of God would be ever more readily apparent, and that is not at all what fear would like for you to know or experience. Fear is a faithless companion, one based upon a presumption of threat that has no justification within all that is Real, but fear knows none of this, and so it attempts to convince you that it is indeed correct, and that its worldview is the only one that could possibly represent correctly what it means to be living a life in form, and so you should be terrified, for danger lurks at every turn and all that is of any aspect of materiality is temporary, able to be taken from you at any time, and always under threat by others who wish you the greatest harm possible. What a litany of imperfections does fear attempt to posit must be the final and most baseline formulation of the import of reality as it is understood purely from the perspective of bodily awareness. What are we to take away from all of that? Is fear correct? Are barbarians storming the gate right now? Does everyone you meet bear you ill will and vicious intent? Are you forever under siege, always vulnerable to the vicissitudes of a fate that conspires to extinguish your life at the soonest moment that becomes available? What folly is it to believe that the randomness and chaos that is the necessary formulation of a world of form must imply that the Creations of God are faulty, unstructured in a manner suitable for the Children of God to experience what it is that they are to know, and wholly oppositional to what it is that you are capable of achieving. Such are the lies of fear, and they are vast indeed. They stretch from one end of this world of form to the other, always attempting to insert themselves into a process of understanding and release that is Total in what is can accomplish but effortless in all that it requires of you. Fear demands an allegiance that Love will never mirror. Fear requires a level of support that Love never requests. Fear insists that it must be justified, whereas Love knows that it is always Perfect, and so it needs no support at all. Fear is blind because it insists that threat of physical destruction must be reflected on some level beyond materiality, and so when the time comes for your body to fail and for your spirit to alight from this mortal coil, you should be terrified in the extreme, for to fear and to the ego, that is indeed the final dissolution of all that is real, a great blackness into which you will be thrust, never to be known again - either to yourself or to any other incarnate Children of God whom you leave behind. What great temerity does fear express when it speaks as such, and it is supported by you when you engage with it, believing that it is offering something that you require, desire or even can possess at all. Who owns fear? Is it the terrified, or it is better said that they are controlled by what it is that they fear? That is much more accurate, for when you give away your eternal ability to choose again, whatever it is that you believe must have power over your elections is indeed where your focus resides, if only so very temporarily. Why not choose differently? Has being afraid accomplished anything at all for you? Has it accurately reflected anything at all that was of genuine importance to you? This is not to imply that caution should be cast to the winds of change as if it were a banner of recklessness, now strewn about as it is storm battered and tempest tossed by all that you no longer wish to be concerned with. Rational precautions are appropriate. Physical demise is possible. Spiritual death is the greatest oxymoron that the ego has ever attempted to foist off upon your awakening mind as some type of reality, even though it is utterly impossible. Fear is useless because it serves only to restrict that which wishes to be Free. Your soul is as this - desirous of release from bonds that have no effect upon it, but which afflict your mind with chains of the greatest encumbrance. Choices govern all that will unfold in the near term, allowing you to delay what it is inevitable, but easily avoidable when you desire to believe that it is possible that fear is an appropriate reaction to your first inkling of an arising of an ability to See what it is to be a blessed and beloved Child of God, rather than simply an assemblage of materiality that believes that it has generated its own consciousness. Try Love instead. See where it is that believing that it is possible for you to be Loved by God forever - Eternally, Perfectly and continuously, might take your mind. See what it is to be freed of fear because you no longer wish to dance with it in a ghoulishly macabre tango of despair, always believing that you are leading when it is fear that cavorts about, dragging you along for a ride that has no conclusion. Fear is darkened, desperate and miserable at all times. It will lie about everything and then attempt to force you to believe that it is either rational, truthful or possessed of an expertise that it has never enjoyed. Love is not at this. Love has no need for you to do anything at all, for there is no argument within the veracity of Love. Love remains just as bright as the first moment of Creation Itself, always Perfect, never doubtful, eternally available and hiding behind all that seems so very certain about this world of form, for Love underlies all that is actually Real, whereas fear encompasses nothing at all that is contiguous with God. Fear is an illusion because Love is all that is actually Real. This is not understandable to the ego, for the ego and fear are twin creations of a misbegotten presumption of separation from God that has no justification, but which is fueled by your continuing desire to believe that it is necessary to be afraid of anything at all. That you will die, in the sense that your body will fail, is absolutely certain and wholly unavoidable. That is not “bad” at all. What is ineffective is any presumption that physical discontinuity is reflective of a cessation of your awareness. That is an incorrect belief of the ego that renders this world of form into a wasteland of desolation and desperate longing for a connection that has always existed, but which is not directly represented in form. God is not to be found in littleness, temporariness or the syntactic explanations that are so fraught with the desire on the part of another to convince you that the Nature of God can be distilled into any particular package, volume of learned expression or tome of ancient knowledge that must be accepted as rote truth and digested wholesale, only to be regurgitated by others with no reflection upon what it is that might be implied by what is so recorded. The Word of God is writ large upon your heart - that is where you should look, not to another and their experience of God, for only a very few have transformed the tangential aspects of having some briefly liminal experience of Infinity into the Experience that transcends all explanations. Those that have are not at all interested in convincing you of anything at all, for they require no supplicants and they have no doubt. Fear doubts that Love could ever be real at all. Love regards fear as nothing at all, forgiving it for all that it utters, ignoring all that is done in its name, and allowing the world of form to be as it is, for there is nothing that will be carried forth unto God from this level of Creation save for the Love that you encountered, accepted and then reflected back for all of the world to know to exactly the extent that it was able to at any particular moment in time.
